Ingredients

  • 50g High Protein Hazel
  • 80g gemahlene Haselnüsse
  • 3 EL Kakao
  • 1 Prise Zimt
  • 100g Datteln

Schritt 1

  • Place the dates in a bowl.
  • Pour boiling water over them so that they are completely covered.
  • Soak the dates for about 10 minutes until they are soft and easy to puree.
  • Drain the soaking water and gently squeeze the dates to remove excess water.

Schritt 2

  • While the dates are soaking, add the ground hazelnuts to a pan.
  • Heat the pan over medium heat and lightly toast the hazelnuts, stirring constantly, until they smell fragrant and turn a golden brown color.
  • Remove the roasted hazelnuts from the pan and let them cool.
  • Place the soaked dates, cooled roasted hazelnuts, High Protein Hazel, cocoa, and cinnamon into a high-performance blender or food processor.

Schritt 3

  • Process the mixture on high speed until a smooth, sticky mass forms. If necessary, scrape down the sides of the blender jar and push the mixture back down.
  • Use a teaspoon to scoop out small portions of the mixture.
  • Form the portions into even balls with your hands. The mixture should yield about 10-15 balls, depending on the desired size.
  • Optional: Roll the finished balls in additional cocoa to create a slightly tart coating.
