Matcha is a high-quality, powdered green tea from Japan. Unlike regular green tea, where the leaves are steeped and then discarded, matcha is made by grinding the whole tea leaf into a fine powder and then infusing it with water. This ensures that you absorb all of the tea leaf's nutrients.

How is matcha prepared?
- Put 1 level teaspoon of matcha (2 chashaku bamboo spoons) into a bowl.
- Add a little water (approx. 80 ml) and stir until creamy using a matcha whisk (chasen) (Z-shaped movements).
- Top up the matcha with the frothed milk and enjoy.
